OF  PERHAPS  75  TO  100  DIFFERENT  TYPES  OF  BOMBERS,  TRANSPORTS,
FIGHTERS,  TRAINERS  AND  OBSERVATION  PLANES .... THERE  WAS  A  HUGE
VARIETY  OF  DIVERSE  PERSONNEL  REQUIRED  TO  TRAIN,  OPERATE,  SERVICE, REPAIR  
AND  MAINTAIN   THIS  UNPRECEDENTED  AIR  ARMADA ....
BETWEEN  1941  AN  1945  ABOUT  324,647  PILOTS   WERE  SUCCESSFULLY
TRAINED,  ABOUT  132,993  CADETS  WERE  EITHER  WASHED  OUT  OR  WERE
KILLED  IN  TRAINING ....
THE  SUCCESS  OF  THE  MILITARY  TRAINING  COMMAND  SPEAKS  FOR  ITSELF ....
HUGE  NUMBERS  OF  RECRUITS  WERE  CLASSIFIED  AND  PLACED  IN  JOBS
AS  BEST  SUITED  TO  THEIR  APTITUDE  AS  QUICKLY  AND  EFFICIENTLY  AS
POSSIBLE .... PERHAPS  WE  CAN  LEARN  AND  APPLY  SOME  OF  THIS
